Meet your dentist
Originally from Boston. Biology and then biochemistry at UMass Amherst, dental school at Boston University, and a general practice residency in New York. He enjoys the balance of science and art in dentistry, and he, his wife Lela and their daughter now call Bethesda home.
Behind every great dental practice is an exceptional team. These are the three people you will meet, on the phone, at the front desk and beside you in the treatment room.
Runs the practice's finances and insurance claims. Before dentistry she oversaw sales and marketing for Hilton and Marriott hotels, which helps her make sure every patient gets the best possible service and care.
Started at the front desk in 2020. Now looks after charting, treatment planning, scheduling and insurance, and makes a point of getting to know every new patient.
More than a dozen years in dentistry. Takes X-rays, looks after patients in the chair and keeps the records straight. Her favourite part is building connections that last for generations.

We accept most major PPO plans, including Cigna, Delta Dental, Humana, Guardian, MetLife PDP Plus, DHA, Sun Life and UnitedHealthcare/DBP, as well as most major credit cards. The team will help with claims and paperwork. Plans change, so please call to check yours before your visit.
We review your dental and medical history forms and take X-rays of your teeth and mouth. Dr. Gotsiridze then goes through the X-rays with you, helps you build your own treatment plan and answers your questions. At your next visit a hygienist cleans and polishes your teeth. Bring your completed patient information form and your insurance card.
Allow between 45 and 90 minutes. The American Dental Association recommends a checkup and cleaning every six months.

Yes. The TAP® (Thornton Adjustable Positioner) holds the lower jaw forward so the airway stays open during the night. It is non-invasive, fully adjustable, and treats snoring and sleep apnea without surgery, a CPAP mask or medication.
